Shared Server Drive randlomly mounting istelf on Desktop

Just since Yosemite, my Share (Home Server) drive just mounts itself randomly on the Desktop. Any idea what that could be? It's random, not at login, just a bit later out of the blue with nothing I can think of calling it up.

could it be spotlight? I added it to the don't search list and will see if it has any effect. The server drive mounts about once every 15 minutes or so. EDIT: Nah, that wasn't it. Back again when I simply dragged a web link into a folder. This is driving me nuts. Might have to uncheck Servers in Finder prefs.

Is time machine mounting it?

I don't think so, but it is hard to tell. It just appears and I've just taken to turn it off from mounting in Finder prefs altogether. I read another post with the same thing after installing Yosemite. Might be some sort of minor bug.
