sharepod trouble

im trying to transfer my music from my iphone to itunes 9.2 with sharepod. its not working. i really just want to put the new os on my 3gs but my laptop with all of my music is out of commission. i want the new os but dont want to lose all my music. how can i do this? thanks.

Uh, sharepod might not be compatible with 9.2, since it just came out.

yeah im pretty sure you're right but. so is there any way to get the new os without losing all of my music?
