    hi,

sorry if this has already been asked.

but, i have been trying to share my internet with my ipod touch and it would never work, then i thought that i could change the firewall setting to "allow all incoming connections", then it worked.

but is there a way i can do this with out lowering my firewall protection, and is doing this putting my mac at rick of hackers.

    thanks

go to your firewall settings and choose set access for specific services and applications. If you have set up internet sharing that should be enabled and your firewall will let that go through.
