Hello, I work at a large company and have a question about security. My iTunes is set to share my Library on my local network. Does that mean anybody at the company is able to listen to my Library? Or is there something preventing this? I'm not sure I want others to be able to be able to listen to all voice recordings I have in iTunes...

There may be something in place to prevent this, as when I try to see libraries of others that show up in the "Shared" bar on my iTunes, iTunes just says "Loading X's Library..." forever but nothing actually happens.

You can have your iTunes library shared, but require a password to access it. Look at the Sharing tab of iTunes Preferences.

It seems that even without a password my iTunes files aren't accessible to others on the company's network. Does that mean there's a firewall of some sort?
