Hello all,

I have a question about iTunes and using the same library between two computers. Computer 1 is a PowerMac G5 and it contains the iTunes Music folder that I wish to share with computer 2, a MacBook Pro. I am able to access the iTunes Music folder over my network.

Here's my question: If I specify the same iTunes Music folder for two installations of iTunes am I risking corrupting the folder/library? And in general, what's the best way for me to share one library between two computers. I know that I can enable sharing but I want to be able to use coverflow and have complete access to the library as I would using only one computer.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I connect to my work server from home (which has the music library), and just specify iTunes to use the library on the connected server.

It works fine except you can't save changes to the library (from home), and I must remember to quit iTunes before going to work in order to make changes to it during the day.
