on the page i go to share i press share then hit message and it's as if it works....but nothing sends.

Just tried sending to my own number there. iPHONE 5s

And you're selecting a valid email address or phone number to send it to?

yes, tried twice to my number, twice to another imessage and twice to a non imessage
