hey,

i have a question, my macbook pro doesnt have enough space to store music on it, so o build up a server in the basement to share the itunes playlist. is there a way i can send files from the macbook pro to my shuffle over the shared library?
is there a program i can buy or get that would do that?

thanks,

-s

ps. its a pain if i have to go to the basement every time i want to load a couple songs on my shuffle.

I don't know how to load songs from a shared playlist to an iPod, however, may I suggest storing your iTunes library on the server, so your MBP accesses the library as if it was on your local drive (instead of a shared playlist) and you can load songs to your iPod.

I set up my iTunes videos on an external drive (to save disk space), but I can still sync it to my iPhone.
