Sharing Plug Ins?

Is there any way to share plug ins for Windows XP and Mac OS X (both installed on same computer with parallel)? For example, currently I am installing Java on both XP and OS seperately, is there any way to just install it once on OS and share it to Windows? Any help would be great, I hate having to install stuff like Flash and Java twice...
 
Plugins on each platform are written to different APIs, so you won't be finding a shortcut for this one.
