Sharing WiFi password wirelessly iOS 11.

Hello as the name of the thread states. In iOS 11 you can share your WiFi password wirelessly simply by holding the unlocked device connected to the wireless network next to the other device you want to connect at the WiFi settings screen and it will pop up on screen to share the password.

I had taken screen shots to share what it would look like but apparently the size of screenshots using an iPhone X is too large to be uploaded on this website. I get an error message saying the uploaded file is too large to process.

I didn't know about this feature until one of my nieces pointed it out to me two or three weeks ago. Pretty cool.

I am sharing information some people may not be aware of. Since thanksgiving just passed and it’s holiday season, a lot of people will have family and friends over their place for the holidays. It will be easier to share the password like this instead of typing out long WiFi passwords.

The password is not visible at all. It’s just a message box that pops up asking if you want to share the password.
