How exactly can I do this? I have my work laptop which has files that I need to get over to my mini. I already tried sharing the folder and allowing full control to "Everyone" but it is not showing up under the "Shared" section in finder. My other PC which is cabled into the router showed up automatically. Is there something I'm missing? The laptop is running XP Pro and is using non-simple file sharing but I dont think that would make a difference.

Do your two windows machines belong to different workgroups? That may explain why you can see one and not the other.

The one pc that I can see isn't part of a work group and the other laptop is my work machine. The pc that I can connect to simply has a shared folder and that is what I attempted to do on the laptop but access it wirelessly. No go so far.
