Love my new phone but is anyone else’s sharper around the edges where the glass meets the edge?
This is def rougher than my XS max.

So I spent £1300 on a phone with some questionable quality control and I've got to buy a case on top to solve the issue? Personally I don't use cases but if it works for you. I'm returning anyway as I'm also experiencing PWM issues. If you use your phone with a case, then the sharp edges won't mean a thing. I had similar issues with previous iPhones, and once I put it in a case, I completely forgot about it. Only when I took the case off when selling the phone was when I remembered about the edges.
My Pro model thankfully has no sharp edges, if in doubt take it into an Apple store and compare it to the ones on display.
Hopefully it’s not the start of sharpgate...

yes, mine is, and it even gave me a paper cut before i realized how sharp it is! my XS max is totally fine. going to take this to the store and see if the others on display are sharp.
my case doesn’t cover the bottom near lightning port so i constantly notice it. maybe i can file it down a bit?
The XS/Max also presented ‘sharp edges’ last year where the casing would meet the glass. I believe there was a fairly large thread on this, some edges were rather drastic in terms where some members claimed it could ‘cut’ them and other times it was rather minimal. It’s Just a manufacturing tendency.
more than 50 percent in the store have the same issue..
tech 21 cases cover the bottom part
