I dropped my phone and cracked the glass pretty bad. Took it into the Apple store yesterday hoping for a miracle, and the "Genius" matter-of-factly asked me how long I'd owned it, then said, "right now, we're repairing/replacing cracked screens". He put it in a box and gave me a receipt. Of course, I was estatic. Talk about awesome customer service.
 
Cool. He must not have read the rumored memo that said they weren't doing that any more.

Now check to see if he's still working there next week ! 😀
