Most of the time I use an electric razor, but those rare occasions where I for whatever reason I decide to use a blade it's some gel stuff my dad gave me.

OMGI thought that area was strictly wax-only...
Oh hell no. Been there, done that...a few times actually. If you've seen "The 40 Year Old Virgin", it was like that (and you know what scene I'm talking about).
A few minutes a day keeps the hot wax lady away...

Right now, I'm shaving in the shower without the aid of foam or gel. It's good, but is there a benefit for using gel or foam in the shower?

Then again, razor blades don't conjure up a better image of the process, I'm afraid.

Some people don't cut or remove their hair at all. I find your options woefully short sighted.

I have a mirror in the shower, and I shave there (with gel). It seems like my face stays a lot wetter, and I get a more comfortable shave.
When I end up in a hotel room without my mirror and shave at the sink, it's not nearly as comfortable, even though I'm using the same gel (EDGE).

LOVE IT!I use a Nivea gel for sensative skin sometimes. Most of the times, I just use my Braun electric razor. Anyone have good suggestions for sensative skin, mainly towards the bottom of the neck?

Well I've heard that shaving regularly keeps the itching down or nil... I guess that makes sense since I shave everyday (my face, obv) and there're no adverse side effects.
Then again, waxing doesn't get everything anyway, so then enters the Mean Tweezers Lady. I guess you keep her away too.

Gel or foam, they are just trying to cut down the friction and condition the skin. After all, you are essentially cutting up your face, legs, other regions.

I risk life and limb. This shows my dedication to littering these boards. No photos in the photo thread though.
I also avoid unnecessary showering to preserve my spam rate.
Neither, I use this shaving soap with a badger hair brush and a Merkur 34C. Haven't had razor burn in months and the number of nicks is dropping very close to zero as well!
