Shazam doesn't tag any songs

Is anyone else having a problem getting Shazam to tag songs. When I first got the app it worked on almost anything. Now, it works on NOTHING. I can't get it to tag any songs. Is there a fix for this?

I've had Shazam since when it first came out. It wasn't tagging with 1.7. I updated to 1.8 today and there's no change.

I had the same issue. I would go tag a song, it would listen, shake then close returning me to the home screen. Tried restarting but no fix, I deleted it. Midomi works great though, Midomi even worked durring a live concert.

I am pretty sure they just crippled the free versions on purpose to make people buy the $5 one.

But that doesn't make any sense. It doesn't tag ANY songs now. If they were trying to get people to buy it, they'd at least want people to see how it works.

I bought the new version, out of 56 songs it's id'ed all but 2 live versions of those songs.

it works for me, im pretty sure im on the latest version of shazam too

I'm using the free version and I can tag more than 5 a month or whatever they crippled it to.

Just tried it again and it still doesn't work. I'll give it a few more days and if I can't get any songs to tag, then I'm going to delete this POS.

i've had it for a while now (6months or so) and it was working fine... i've done all the updates along the way....

it stopped working about a week ago for a few days (0 tags), then found online about the problems and the $5 version.... a couple of days ago it went back to working again and haven't had a problem in the last few days.....

we'll see if it stays working.....

Try dling it again.
