    Hi Guys,

    I need help to find out a method to check Microsoft Office 2008's available update (Check for Update) through a script or if any terminal command is available to check it for an office update available.

    If update it available it will list down the updates and then we can trigger the update through terminal.

    Help me if it is possible.

    Regards,
    sonuw

    I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish. MS Office can automatically check for updates. No script is needed:

    Hello GGJstudio,

    Thanks for respond, I am looking for same thing through terminal command line.
    like we check for apple software updates
    i.e
    App-04:~ root# softwareupdate -l
    Software Update Tool
    Copyright 2002-2010 Apple

    No new software available.
    App-04:~ root#

    Regards,

    Microsoft != Apple

    Microsoft hates CLI, so there is no such option.
