So if I’m summarizing this correctly, here are the steps you’re suggesting:

1. hot shower
2. Blow off screen with canned air
3. Wipe with wipe.
4. Attach guide to phone and let glass fall.
5. Press firmly from middle to edges.
6. If there’s dust, lift edge and use sticker.

thanks for response!

I never saw a screen protector which covered really everything. They don‘t do that because it would break much more easily. I used icarez and Flolab in the past. Flolab are my favorite unzil I tried the Shellrus. I tried to shoot some pictures but it was very hard to focus.
I just got my Shellrus just in time because apparently it’s out of stock on Amazon. Did you have any issues with the install guide scratching the sides of the phone?

I haven’t installed mine yet and a bit OCD about being careful not to push the install guide down too hard or install it the wrong way that would cause the plastic to scratch the side.

No issues with scratching the sides. Don`t worry it is just plastic and not that hard like the Belkin Machines they use in the Apple Stores.

I just installed mine. I've done over a dozen screen protector installs in my life, and this had to have been the easiest so far. Usually it takes me at least 30 mins because of all the re-lifting for re-alignment or dust particles. Sometimes I would destroy the screen protector because the adhesive was gone. This took me about 5 seconds using the install guide and looks absolutely perfect.

I installed this in my bathroom, running the shower hot, letting the steam settle so there was very minimal dust flowing. I put the install guide on, hit it with the air can and dust stickers a couple of times and dropped the glass protector on, starting it from the top first, then dropping it when I saw the earpiece alignment was good.

I was worried about bubbles that you mentioned, and having to apply a lot pressure to remove it, but mine went on with nearly no issues. There were some very small line bubbles, but it dissipated with a small bit of pressure. I'm glad I didn't have any issues that other reviewers on Amazon faced, and didn't require re-lifting the screen protector. It was all good in one shot. The Sapphire is very subtle against the black screen and a lot less intrusive and distracting then I originally thought.

It's also very close to the edge, which is what I want. Now I don't have to worry about scratching it when I'm cleaning the screen like I would a normal screen protector. I can barely even tell there is a screen protector on my phone. It just fits so seamlessly.

Thanks Cruncher for your previous assistance!

I am glad you like it. I still love mine. If it really holds up well I will definitely buy it again for my future phones.
I have also a Mini for Work and considering getting one for that too. The Glass takes some smudges but they get wiped away much easier than any regular tempered glass!

Yeah, assuming you don’t eff up the install this is definitely the best screen protector out there.

I concur! I was super nervous considering the reports I've read here about difficulties getting bubbles out, and pressing down too firmly that it broke the glass. Of course I could have gotten a replacement, but would have waited longer for it, plus I just got my 12 Pro so I would have waited even longer to use it. I don't like using the bare screen and have always put on a screen protector before first usage.

Luckily, the hot shower steam appeared to have removed most of the dust particles floating in the air, and I didn't create any additional when I peeled the glass protector off the backing. The install guide was a lifesaver, as I know for sure I would have constantly be re-adjusting it to get the perfect alignment, and would have most likely introduce more dust under the screen.

have you had any issues with compatibility with cases?

I am not using cases. Only sleeves as I like to have my naked iPhone. Sometimes only I use a folio Case from Nomad which is tight but no issues so far.

I’ve had this one my pro max 12 since release date. Never had issues or scratches. Will definitely be getting one for the 13. Totally worth the price.

used with an aramid type case. Also no issues with it lifting. My screen looks just like it came out of the box.
