I am new to the Mac scene... 'switched' only a couple of months ago. I have used Sherlock maybe once and that was just to try it out. I can't find any compelling uses for it. Is this anybody else's experience? I don't consider myslef a power user nor that 'net savvy but why not just intergrate the Sherlock buttons into Safari? Cleaner design is one thing but two programs for essentially the same thing? Am I missing something? Who uses Sherlock and why. I would love to have a reason to use it that I haven't thought of yet.
Thanks

i've been using a mac for 10 years (sherlock itself is only around 5? yrs old) and i still can't figure this one out. it seems completely pointless to me, as the time needed to launch it, and select your service, you could have just gone to a website... which can give you deeper content. i do like the Movies option, but even that's not worth it for me. i keep hoping that sherlock will just die. quite a few people do rely on it tho, for reasons i don't understand, maybe you'll get some of their opinions too...
