Hi,
I am restoring a Macintosh II and was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for restoring the shielding as it’s a little rusty after many years

It's got some sort of fine coating which corrodes away. I tried polishing mine. It looked a little better. As far as could tell. It's a different metal underneath. As it's much darker and wouldn't brighten.
