So I searched the threads and I can't find my exact problem. Hopefully someone here has the answer.

For two days my shift and enter key stopped working (I didn't realize how much I used the enter key til I didn't have it). Then all of sudden it was fixed. Both times it happened while I was using the computer. No liquids spilled or any drops. Now, it will randomly start trying to type periods and won't stop.

Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried restarting and hard resetting.

Thanks guys.

I've not experienced this problem.

Is your MBA a 2012 model? I'd return it for a new one.

Just wanted to update this. The shift/enter key thing worked itself out somehow (knock on wood). I finally realized that the reason my keyboard kept spazzing out is because I had set up a bluetooth keyboard so I could press enter and hadn't disconnected it.

Long story short, everything worked out!

Which is good news because the only other option was replacing the keyboard...and I think we all know how difficult that would be on an Air.
