Just got my ibook back from the apple service centre after its 4th logic board replacement (!) and the shift, apple comand etc. keys dont work. Any ideas what this is about and how I can fix it?

Do a restart. No change then a PMU reset. No change, then call Apple.
 
no luck with that theory. any other ideas ... i would do a question mark but no shift keys remember...same for exclamation mark...try typing without shift and command keys - its dumb.:mad:
 
After my iBook had been into Applecare four or five times, I said "I'd really like to pursue replacement." It was easy as pie and my crappy almost three-year-old iBook G3 turned into a nice new iBook G4. :)
