I'm very happy with the most recent build of shiira as well as the .9.2 version now, i rarely use the default theme, i mainly use the safari icons and the deep sky icon pack. I don't feel the straining that any of the gecko browsers have, I've given up on Camino, I used to be a huge fan of it but it just feels too slow tab wise now days.
Safari and Shiira are still a bit slow opening tabs but hopefully someday it'll be fixed.
