Shipment Notification from Apple

My wife's on the other hand is still in "Not yet shipped" mode, her order was placed at 5:59 pm PST. Her contract still show an end date of July 11, 2010. My contract date has been moved to 6/17/2012. I hope this helps!

My wife's phone just moved from the "Not yet shipped" to "Prepared for Shipment" at 9:00 pm 6/19. I hope this is a good sign! I won't hold my breath until it has been shipped. I can't wait until Thursday, even though I have to work all day!

I too received the Shipment Notification email from Apple. Expected delivery date of June 23 (FedEx will hold it).

What I did notice on the FedEx tracking page is that the 'Service Type' is 'International Economy Distribution'. This has me thinking that the iPhone is being shipped directly from the plant in China.

ARgg. Idk why mine hasn't been shipped yet... I practically ordered this thing as fast as I could when they opened up the Apple store online at 1 AM PST on the 15th. lol... I completed it in 3 minutes.

Just to keep all of you informed that are tracking the process and trying to figure this all out. My wife's AT&T contract this morning shows a 6/19/2012 date. I am guessing after Apple moves it to shipping they charge the Credit Card and AT&T can reset the contract date. My new contract date is 6/17/2012, it is odd we are not on the same date. We have always been on the same date, it just makes things easier. I know two days is not a big deal.
