I actually ordered mine yesterday afternoon and got an estimated ship day of Feb. 18th. I woke up this morning and checked my e-mail and, low and behold, it was shipped out yesterday. I got my Fedex Tracking number and i see it's coming form Pennsylvania. I guess they decided to ship it through Fedex ground. So, maybe i will get it by Tuesday or something?


Oh yeah, I ordered a BTO 15" PowerBook.

Thats just downright unfair. I ordered the 6th... and low and behold, I'm still waiting, with a quote of on or before the 29th. I guess they just decided not to ship it. So, maybe I'll get it hopefull within three weeks or something?

What I'm wondering is: which PB did you order, the 1.5GHz, or 1.67GHz? Apple has same day shipping for the former, and like you, I have a long wait - on the latter. Bangpow, which did you order? I'm guessing the 1.5GHz model...

Sure, it's unfair. I orderd mine on january 31st and mine is on or before march 3rd !!!

wow, you guys are overlooking the obvious here .. i PMMED Banglow to see what the deal was hoping mine would be shipping soon, he just added RAM TO his machine, no major upgrades. This is why his machine shipped so fast, where as it seems like the video cards are causing the major delay (end of the month people) and the sdrives are just taking a while. so simma down and get the details before you start getting convinced that you're getting screwed.

ordered thursday morning (2/10?) est ship 2/18/05 actual ship today 2/13/05 with 2 day shipping, so i'm hoping for tuesday or wednesday but will be happy if before friday. yay! 15" 1.5 with superdrive, no other ctos

The CTO was an upgrade of the RAM to 768MB.

Ordered on 31st January, 9pm GMT. Received on 10th February, 11am GMT.

Placed my order 1/31/05 for 17"PB w/ 2GB Ram
Estimated ship date was 2/7/05...

Which then became 2/17/05...

Which THEN became 2/22/05...

At which point I started pulling my hair out...

Hi everyone. New to the forums here, and to Apple in general. I've been browsing the boards for just over a month now, but thought it was now time to post a reply about my Powerbook now that I've got information to share.

Powerbook G4 15" SuperDrive
+100GB Hard Drive
+1GB RAM
+128MB VRAM

Ordered 31st January, estimated Shipping 7th Feb, then pushed to 14th Feb.

Recieved a shipping notice this morning (14th Feb). 6-7 days for delivery to the UK.

The wait seemed unbearable, but its better now that I know it's on its way to me. 6-7 days is a long time considering you guys in the US can have yours within 1-2 days (or so I've read in some posts).

Hope all you other guys with delayed Powerbooks start getting yours shipped too. It has seemed like an eternity....

I ordered my 12" stock combo model today, it ships tomorrow and then who knows how long it will take to get to Australia, it would be better if i lived in Antarctica, i heard they are getting an iTunes Store before us.

Though I can't wait for my PowerBook, I considered the 15" but the size and portability won me over. Bring on the Maestro................ Hopefully I get one that is already in the land of Oz, so i get it before the end of the week, because my Shipping Method is ROAD, and I don;t know of any road between Shanghai and Melbourne. Maybe I may see it soon. Hopefully, Maybe, Perhaps, Wishing, Probably of the unlikely variety it seems

Latest Info: It showed up in Anchorage on the 12th. From reading what others wrote, I decided to take a break and stop watching it so closely for a couple days. Knowing that others' orders have gone all over the place after leaving China was actually helpful... anyway, it looks like it's in Seattle and I suppose that means it could get delivered as soon as today. That would be two whole days early. I'm not getting my hopes up, though. I'll just wait and see!

I just received my 12" Powerbook w/SuperDrive and 768MB RAM. Ordered the 7th.

Once it finally shipped, it wasn't supposed to get here until the 17th. So, it got here a whole TWO days early!
