Still waiting.................usually the fedex lady comes around this time... around 12:00pm (noon) even though I chose by 3:00pm usually she's here by 12:30pm (I order ALOT of stuff online..)

I plugged it in and charged for the last few hours I have an appointment at 4 then the gym and it is home to play with my mac for hours and hours!!! YEAH!!!

Good luck getting yours guys! Hope it comes soon. I never knew a computer could make me so happy!! haha

I turned it on for a few minutes to show my boss the screen and it was like heaven!!! :)

BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE...the sad thing is though, that now when I go to the mall I won't be shopping for clothes and shoes it will be straight to the Apple store. :)

skip the gym for a day!
play with your new toy first!
buy a 4 GB RAM memory online..
then buy the external wireless keyboard..
buy a case..
a protective one, not just a sleeve
you can also go for a mouse, but not the mighty mouse, i suggest anything that has laser wireless will be ok.

My new one seems to have routed through there and been stuck, somewhere in the pacific. Course it sat being built for the better part of a week then in "prepared to ship" for over a day, then went to "shipping exception" for over a day as well.. pushing my expected delivery from today to Wednesday. Also coming to a 4 corners state (Arizona)

I got it!
Mine was shipped on Friday and I have it now in my hands!
Amazing shipping time and a beautiful machine.
 
Just got mine a couple hours ago and just took the hitachi travelstar 7k200 out of the 15" sr mbp and transplanted in the 17" led model!! man the screen is 9c7a and it is beautiful and very very vibrant!!! :D

The 17" mbp feels lighter than the 15" sr mbp!! :eek:

Plus the superdrive is near silent!! wow this is THE best mbp I've ever owned and I've been through quite a lot...:p

simpletracking

Hey that simple tracking is an excellent mbp stalking device but it winds up telling you where the scans have been sent, so on the track, it looks like it's b-lined across the country.

So when I saw this am it was in Vancouver I was excited, I'm still in my jimjams waiting for the courier to get here. When I came on this site to see the simpletracker website, I opted to try it out, saw that it was apparently headed in the complete OPPOSITE direction than where it should be (Mississauga, ontario instead of Vancouver, BC) I called fedex canada to ask them what had gone on. The lady said that it was where the information was being processed and according to her computers, my new 15' mbp with 4 gigs of ram will be here within hours, the courier is going to call me asap with an ETA. I specify fedex canada because when I called fedex international they were extremely short with me and wouldn't even hint at an ETA. The lady from Canadia was awesomitron. I will marry her once I become a successful lesbian and leave my husband for her and her exceptional customer service skills.

Here I sit waiting.....waiting.....watching the driveway, watching the door, frequenting this forum, bored, bad breath, stinking as I'm afraid that as soon as I set foot in the shower, the door will knock and I'll have to come out in a towel. That can be very suggestive to a courier I bet.
 
I hate waiting. I used to order for these computers, now I just run to the store and just choose the models they have.

I hate waiting too. I either go to the store and buy or order next day delivery.

I ordered my black MacBook Wednesday and got it an hour ago. Worth the $26 for shipping.
 
the wait was worth it, I'm on it now and it is prettier than I'd ever expected. I've never actually seen the new mbp's in real land, our local computer stores just had the 2007s and the macbook airs.
this thing is awesomitron
