Shipping dates?

My SBTi 40mm order has been set for the end of October for nearly two weeks now.
does anyone know why the shipping dates are so long this year?
 
Its because of the bands. Count your blessings. I have to send my watch back because of a fault and the replacement time for the same watch with the same band is 21st-26th December
