Shipping fun

We ordered iPad 2 from the Apple website. It will be here in 1-2 weeks. Looking forward to it's arrival.

The COVER will be here in 4 days.

I admit I did a serious facepalm when I read the email.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

I believe nearly everyone that ordered more than an iPad2 went through this. I had the Camera and Video Out modules for weeks before the iPad was shipped, since accessories were in stock and weren't shipped from China.

When you order from Apple's website, once you place your order but it has not yet shipped, you have the option to Ship your products individually as they become available or all at once once.


You didn't check the box for all at once.

Issue resolved

Local apple store had some iPad 2's in stock so just picked one up. Typing on it now, in fact 🙂
