My iPhone was shipped yesterday, due to poor planning on my part I thought it would be a good idea to have it sent to my townhouse. I will not be home from 6am-2:45pm. Is there a way I can contact UPS and have them hold it at there hub and go pick it up there? or take my chances and hope they show up after 2:45pm? leaving it on the doorstep is not an option, I dont want it stolen.

If you have the tracking information, you can call UPS/Fedex and have them hold at warehouse for pickup. I have done both UPS and Fedex in Los Angeles.
I'm pretty sure they would be happy to hold for you since the UPS dude would have half a million household/business to drop off tomorrow. 1 less would make him or another person happy.
