after memphis, i believe the phones part ways and go to their delivery state and it goes from there
so much for not watching anymore. as soon as i said that and walked away, i came back to find that the JP flight HAD actually left on time but flight trackr just didn't show it. it should arrive in AK in 3 hours and 46 minutes.

Sure hope so! I have the same status as you! I hope they don't fly it all the way to Memphis. I'm in Southern California. It'd be easier if they just flew it to Oakland and then to Ontario. They probably won't.
Maybe we will get them on Monday...as long as they don't sit in Anchorage for more than a day. I'm hoping they will depart to Memphis by tomorrow evening so they can be sent to final destination cities by Sunday evening.
We'll see. Mine is currently scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday, but I'll be traveling then, so I really would like to get it by Tuesday, dang it.
I thought that when I ordered my bumper, but it went from Alaska, ALLLLLL the way to Memphis, and then it came to me.
Thats weird because i also ordered a bumper and it came through Oakland. But i live in NorCal maybe thats why.

Mine still says I'm there but I'm 99% sure I'm on the fdx9734 flight. Once it gets to Alaska I'm sure we'll see an update on our status. It land in 3.5 hours so give them a little more time than that to update.
My bumper went straight from anchorage to newark, so i dont know if my phone will do that too. also, it now says "int'l shipment release" for people whos phone are in alaska!
I also have given up on it being delivered before the July 13th delivery date. However, I don't think we're cooling our antennas in Anchorage because of customs delays. We were given our delivery dates when we shipped because they already knew what flights our shipment would be on from the second it was picked up from the factory. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. Preorder from Apple June 16 at 1:28 PM PDT and still waiting.
Not necessarily Memphis. My bumper went from Anchorage, AK -> Newark, NJ -> Dulles, VA --> Rockville, MD
Just to note every one FedEx has several hubs in the continental US. The major hub is in Memphis. And there are 3 regional hubs also which include Oakland, CA for West Coast, Newark, NJ for East, Fort Worth, TX for Southern US, and Indianapolis, IN for Midwest. If you live anywhere in the 200mi radius from these hubs then it will go there otherwise it will go to the Memphis.
My Fedex tracking info hasn't changed in 6 hrs, so it looks like mine will be spending the night "at the local Fedex facility" in Sennan-Shi, JP> Boo Hiss!
I live in NY, so that makes sense to why it went to Newark. For people with past shipping experiences with fedex, how long does it take to get out of the "int'l shipping release"?

I'm just happy that after almost 7 days of PFS that mine has finally shipped!
from 1 hour to 24hrs depending on how much stuff needs to be released before you. So if your plane comes in and theres no other fedexs coming in itll be about an hour. but if its rush hour itll spend 3-24hours there. hope your lucky! My bumper was released in 4 hrs.

Two FYIs: Mine never showed departure from Anchorage. It merely showed arrival in Oakland some 40 hours later, Seattle two hours after that, then to our local branch and out for delivery this morning. And though the delivery date never changed from the 13th, it did in fact get delivered two business days early.
All this to say, FedEx is leaving themselves some room to maneuver, and what you see on any of the tracking sites may not reflect reality. The phone may in fact be on its way somewhere without the tracking being updated. Hopefully everyone's phone's arrive soon!

Edit: Now looks like it's leaving AK, says "in transit" now.Probably not, it's Saturday. We'll probably get them on Monday.
