actually i don't think i'll be getting it today afterall. just looked at some old shipments (FEDEX ground, not express) and they were all marked "out for delivery" by 4:30am. the latest showed 6:28am. i might call and see if i can pick it up, but not sure if i'm going to yet.
 
6:49 here and I can't sleep any more. my status says at local sorting facility. let's hope it changes to "out for delivery" soon!! ;) could be a happy today for a few of us!!!
 
After a little freak out with tracking, it's here! :D Tracking said it was delivered in the same town as the facility, but not where I work (about 20 min away). And the name of the person who signed for it, is not our receptionist. Went into the details, and it actually was signed for by the right person so I don't know what's up with that.

i live 3 minutes away from this fedex destination location.. i called the fed ex customer service they told me i cant pick it up because it has a delivery date of july 15...

BTW, mine is out for delivery! Tracking never said it left Newark or arrived at my local facility...went from arrived at Newark to out for delivery.

Mine went from Newark to Baltimore to Salisbury overnight - quite a ride. But when I got up at 9am, it said OUT FOR LOCAL DELIVERY!!!!

FEDEX usually gets here in the late afternoon so I should see it when I get back from a 2:15p massage!!! Oh Happy Happy Day!

Thanks for all the brother and sisterhood here as we waited, watched and tracked!!

By the way, I'm a new iPhone customer, but not new to AT+T (I am coming over from a lifetime of RIM BBs). Is it true it will work right outta the box once I sync with iTunes, or do I have to touch base with someone from ATT as well?

It just occured to me that FEDEX needs to start installing GPS trackers in all of their trucks so that all of us with extreme OCD can follow the trucks on their routes all day long....

haha or maybe that's a bad idea for productivity sake... :)

Weird. Mine was supposed to be delivered on the 15th as well and it's on a truck on its way to my house now...

i just spoke with fedex and the moron lady told me that my phone is still out of the country but should be here tomorrow. i told her that my tracking says it's in denver and not out of the country and she looked again and said it's en route to littleton, another suburb of denver. don't think i'll be getting it today. they seriously have no clue how to update their tracking info.

EDIT: and now it says on truck for delivery!!! i swear!! i think i'm having heart palpitations after all the crap!! i'll believe it when it's in my hands later today..... for now i'll let out a little hooray!!

almost 10:30 and still listed as in Newark. So either its lost in a corner or the next entry is going to be a first delivery attempt around 2:30 this afternoon (FedEx loves to go down my vacant street in the middle of they day when everyone is working). I am going with the second one myself.

Mine is at local FedEx facility! Next step is on vehicle for delivery, right? It's only 7:30 here in CA and I've noticed from previous FedEx packages, that they don't get put on the truck until around 8:30
