Shock and Horror!

I recently found this catalogue from way back in January 2002 lying at the bottom of a drawer. Shows how far we've come in 4 1/2 years and how much better (especially us Kiwis) have it in terms of Mac prices.

For reference, a brand new G5 Quad will set you back NZ$6799 incl GST today here in New Zealand from apple.co.nz, and a 60GB iPod is NZ$768.
I notice, however, that the Quad only comes with twice the amount of RAM the Dual 800 Quicksilver did 😛

Good to see that the prices here in NZ have cooled off. Apparently our prices are high because the products first go through Australia, and they hike it up. 😡
