Other Shooting in ProRaw 12mp setting?

Does anyone use this to safe space? Is it better than the regular auto setting 12mp?

I shoot in pro raw 12 pm. I also have google drive and I keep my photos there. Sometimes I’ll shoot in 48 pm, too. But it all goes to google drive, I don’t store things on my phone.
