Can’t see it on the John Lewis linkRemember, the Apple stores will stock the base and mid tier models but not the CTO/BTO high end storage/UM models.
And they won't have a customized keyboard, matching color trackpad, etc...
This is where the Apple stores makes more money - if you want the full-sized keyboard or matching color trackpad, they will make you buy them separately!
9to5Mac says:
"According to multiple sources, including Jon Prosser who has a good track record of nailing these release dates, Apple will release the new iMac, iPad Pro with M1 and the upgraded Apple TV 4K with revamped Siri Remote on May 21.
The May 21st date was first reported by Prosser a few days ago, with an implication that the 11-inch would launch one day later on May 22nd. Prosser has updated his original comment to say that the 22nd date was inaccurate.
Since then, other retailers have also started reporting a May 21 release date. For instance, the product pages for the 24-inch iMac on the website of UK retailer (and Apple authorized reseller) John Lewis informs customers that the new iMac models will be available then."
It will be available from May 21st as per Apple Newsroom article.Have Apple officially said yet when stock will be in the shops to buy?

8 core Silver 16/512 would be perfect for meWill be interesting to see which 16GB option the stores stock and in which colour. I wonder if they'll just go for the "safe" grey/silver option.
My money is on 8 core 16/1TB which is £2049 I think?8 core Silver 16/512 would be perfect for me

EDU pricing differs between different countries ?No, I don't think these BTO models show up on the online inventory - they're only available if you phone the store or go in.
I was thinking the issue is whether or not a Store's BTO option they stock will appear in the Apple online store for payment and pickup or if you have to call them in order to reserve it?EDU pricing differs between different countries ?
I never knew - I thought they honor EDU discounts no matter where you are....
In the US, one can customize any Mac and get the EDU pricing along with any accessories.
Unfortunately, the Pro Apps Bundle for EDU can't get a discount because it's already heavily discounted. 😟
They have been like that since earlier in the day. Just setting up for tomorrow’s in store pick up stock. They will become available in the morning.iMacs are "up" on the Apple Store for store pickup.
I don't know if I am late to the party and they are sold out, or they have not made stock available yet.
Each of the three basic builds are set up for in store pickup.
Everything says "not available" in SoCal
