Nomad's Mag Leather Back case seems to be the best so far - simple and protective enough - but the December 7th shipping estimate is a real bummer.

Edit: looks like Burton's Heritage Leather Case should fit the bill, and includes a hinge protector for shipping by October 23. Nice!

Then I bought a generic case on eBay for $4.
2 years has elapsed, and it's in original condition. $4.

I would only use an Apple case on the Duo. The hinge is risky. I probably won't use a case anyway. I got used to it with the Air. It's titanium. I may rethink this 😕

Not buying the Duo. I would always go for Spigen cases. There are many third party cases that are good.

I can vouch for Spigen cases, they're cheap enough but they're very durable and feel great to the touch.
