short lasting battery

I just recently bought a new 13 inch macbook pro. Whenever i charge it too 100% all 8 lights on the side light up but after five-ten minutes of use it drops to seven. Why is this happening.

That's normal.

8 lights show 100% percent capacity, 7 lights show just 87.5% to almost 100% battery capacity.

There is also a battery meter in the menu bar.
