I have started to use shortcuts. Am finding them really useful. One issue I face is everytime I run one I get the banner notification which is irritating. Is there a way of switcing this off ?

Yes there is a way, but it is a little bit uncomfortable.

Warning: You have to redo this every time you reboot your device.

Although I haven't tested it, apparently if you've got Screen Time enabled, you can disable the Shortcuts notification from there. If you're enabling Screen Time for the first time, you may need to keep Shortcuts open for a few hours to allow it to populate in Screen Time, and then once you see it in Screen Time's Notifications area, you can tap to get the detail and disable Notifications.

Tried that it doesnt work

In case the arrow next to „shortcuts“ is missing: just scroll up and switch from day to week and then back to day view. The arrow should now be there. It‘s a bug.
That’s what I have

There is no known way of permanently disabling the notification, only temporarily.

Okay now I see! You have to trigger an automation first. Then go to screen time and scroll all the way down(!) to the notifications section. There is another „shortcuts“ entry. There you should find the notification settings.
Found it thanks, turned all off but they still appear. I guess it’s another Apple issue

You've probably already done this, but be sure your script steps contain no notification or previewing steps that might trigger a notification. Perhaps there are other ways within the script to suppress notifications. I've got a couple of basic scripts that don't trigger notifications.

These notifications are annoying. I assume this is an oversight by Apple rather than a bug. I'm sure there are some things that a person might want to receive a notification for, but at least give us the option to turn them off. I don't need a notification that my automation ran to turn off wifi when I connect to CarPlay. And then when I disconnect.

Did you read the solution provided a few posts earlier?
