Shortcut by double tapping?

On installing the app Found from app store the shortcut to open the app in by default doubletapping the ctrl key on the keyboard.
I would like to create more shortcuts like that, double tap other keys not oftenly used. How do I do that?

Go into System Preferences->KeyBoard, Keyboard Shortcuts then make you own Keyboard Shortcuts. Also learn about /Applications/Automator and make you own cuts. Then save those Automator short cuts as detailed in the video called Macworld Video Tip: Use Automator service and folder action workflows.

Thank you for the answer, very good, but how on earth do I create a keyboard shortcut consisting of a double tap on for example the alt key. Cannot be done in the system settings...
