Hi,

I’ve had my first attempt at creating a shortcut using the Apple Shortcuts app for MacOS and have run into a bit of a problem.

I wanted to create a quick entry for entering a reminder into Apple Reminders by using a keyboard shortcut which would bring up a simple input box and then an ‘add’ button. So I followed the instructions I found online and all seemed well. I created the shortcut and when I click play to run it, it works great. However when I press the keyboard shortcut that I used to create it, it just doesn’t work which is the whole point of it. Do I can quickly capture ideas etc!

I originally set the shortcut as cmd+opt+R however whenever I was in Safari and tried that combo, it would refresh the website even though the shortcut for refreshing a page is opt+R without cmd. So I tried mapping it as something else, but it still doesn’t seem to launch it. The keyboard shortcut is shown in the keyboard shortcuts section in the section in settings so I’m a little confused.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
