How do you click through the different options in a dialog box? Like pressing the arrows and highlighting the different buttons and clicking enter to choose?

I know you can do it sometimes if you tab through and choose with the space bar, but it's not always possible.

Erm, not fully sure what you're talking about specifically, but in the Keyboard & Mouse pane of System Preferences, do you have All Controls ticked in the Full Keyboard Access option in the Keyboard Shortcuts section?

For instance, I press the shutdown button on the computer, a dialog appears which gives me four choices: restart, sleep, cancel and shut down. How do I scroll through them with the use of the keyboard?

I tried All Controls ticked but to no avail (not even sure what that does).
