Shortcut to go to safari homepage on macbook pro?

Title says it all. Tried to google it, says a lot of stuff about a home key?
I dont have a home key...?
If you need to know, I have the new macbook Pro

By default, the home key is missing from the Safari toolbar. So simply go to Safari's menubar, click "View", then click "Customize Toolbar.." and a drop down menu will appear. From there, just find the "Home" button and drag it over to your Safari toolbar.

Sorry to answering pears to apples , but a good solution is in my opinion Shift+Command+H .... but in Google Chrome which I switched to from Safari yesterday evening !

Actually - Shift, Command H did not get me to a home page. It did nothing.

I set up the home page icon as instructed above and shift-cmd-H worked fine.
