So I completely forgot that the Shortcuts app existed until my friend sent me a super useful one last week. Well I’ve been creating some of my own and I’m now stuck on the “programming” of this one and what I want it to do. BASICALLY, what I WANT it to do is when I start it, Turn my system volume to a certain level, Then ask what time Do Not Disturb will be set to (8AM, 9AM, 10AM, or Other). When I click Other, I want it to ask me what time? It turns WiFi on, then Runs my Good Night HomeKit scene. At that point, I want it to grab tomorrow’s weather forecast, read it to me. Finally, it starts my chill mix playlist, starts a 30 minute timer (which at the end turns the music off) and ends with “Good night Wayne. Sleep Tight.”
Setting system volume, turning WiFi on, running my HomeKit scene, and playing music for the correct time is all working properly. The issues I’m having is with setting DND and reading me ONLY tomorrows forecast. Currently, for the DND function to work, only whole times can be inputted AND the shortcut will only work if the the time is later that same day (ie, it only works if I run the shortcut after 12:01AM because If I run it at 1159PM or even 7pm, it thinks I’m trying to set it for that same day). The second issue is its grabbing the weather forecast, but it’s reading off the ENTIRE AVAILABLE forecast. Sooo... Help?
