Shortcuts - location services

I often take photos for uploading to forums. I don't want my geolocation shared, so I go into Settings and turn off Location Services.
Is there any way a shortcut could be made so I could say 'take a picture without my location'?
I imagine it would either have to turn location services off (and take a few moments before taking a photograph) or take the picture and then remove the location somehow?

Just curious... thanks for any thoughts!

Don't think that's possible, as I believe there is no method for toggling location services in Shortcuts.

There are a ton of apps out there for editing EXIF information on photos in your Camera Roll. Just do a search on EXIF in App Store.

A better option may be to use shortcuts to edit the photo after its been taken potentially.

In settings > privacy > location services you can set the camera app NOT to use your location. Is there a reason why this is not being used?

That's what I've been doing, but it is a semi-time consuming process. I was thinking if there's a simple and quick way to do it, that would be great.
Maybe my best option would be to find a basic camera app that simply doesn't capture exif data, if that's even possible.
Yes, I could strip it, but that's a little time consuming, too. I often go back and fourth with location services on/off, so while its not the end of the world, it is a little tedious.

Oh, I thought you permanently wanted your pictures not to have a geotag.

Could you potentially get a camera app that you turn GPS off for and just use that to take the photos you dont want location info attached to?

Use this shortcut to strip away all meta data from a image you’ve already taken. The shortcut name is in Swedish so just change that. And the quality of the final image can be adjusted in the shortcut

You could also modify it and add “take picture” in the beginning so the shortcut will work more like you wanted to.

EDIT: Strangely that shortcut has stopped working. Can’t save to camera roll. I modified it so you can run in from the app and share sheet. It will only copy the image to the clipboard though. As both save photo and the share actions don’t work.

I also have a Shortcut that does this, and at the moment it doesn’t work...

Presumably a regression defect...

Wow, thank you - I will try to poke around with this over the next day
