After having issues with my iPhone battery life, particularly the idle life where it would run out after a day or so of non use, I tried turning off SSH and it seems to have brought my battery life back to acceptable numbers. I did it via terminal last time, but I just saw a new app in AppTapp called "Services" which lets you turn it off via an app. Might do the trick.

Thanks to the Services app, this is a piece of cake. Thanks for the input...I'm going to give it a shot to see if it makes a difference. Don't have any real complaints, but every bit of battery saving advice helps!

Also...I believe shutting down unused apps may help as well (holding down the home button until it shuts down when exiting).
