Apple TV+ has inked a deal for "Fraggle Rock: Rock On," a shortform series from the Jim Henson Company that features characters from popular series "Fraggle Rock," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

There is one episode available now and new episodes will debut each Tuesday on Apple TV+. Episodes of the show are just three to five minutes in length, hence the "shortform" part of the series.

The show was shot using iPhone 11 devices from the homes of the production team and artists across the United States due to shelter in place orders.

"Fraggle Rock: Rock On" joins several other Apple TV+ shows aimed at children, including "Helpsters," "Snoopy in Space," and "Ghostwriter."

This article triggered memories of my first paint program, Sesame Street Art Workshop.

OMG YES. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw this headline!! WHAT A WIN FOR APPLE!! It is MASSIVE to have big IP on TV+. Fraggle Rock and Dinosaur were my childhood. Does this mean Apple has a deal with the Muppet Company? This is very exciting! If we can get the other massive shows from The Muppet Company on TV+ in the future that would be amazing. Disney owns the Muppets but not Dinosaur, Fraggle Rock, etc.

Very exciting! We just watched it and my son told me it's his new favorite show (oh to be 3 again...)

Its just extra money now... It's already available on the iTunes Store in full,

Besides, that's what previews are for aren't they ? Turing shows into shortens versions makes little sense when that's not how they were bought out..

e.g. Loony Tunes makes sense.. but not a 22min TV show like Fraggle rock

What’s next? He-Man and Who’s The Boss?

ok, but don't get them together in the same room..
