I still have some apps reloading in the background with the M1 8GB RAM version.

Just to make sure those reloading apps are not because of app itself needing reloading. Leaving inside the RAM is one thing, being hibernated by iOS and lost its functionality and require a refresh is another.

One of my games I used to play works more or less like what you want: resume where I left off. All it needed was a reconnect and voila.

I think YouTuber’s demonstration is slightly misleading cause it varies greatly from app to app.

I find app reloads to be very rare on my 16GB device. But is it much of a problem on your 8GB device? It might be something that happens from time-to-time that you can live with.

Maybe share what apps do that so that people with the higher RAM iPads can chime in with their experience if they use the same apps.
