Should I ammend my MBP order by a magic mouse?

Hi All

I'm going to order my first MBP. I'm very impressed by the large touchpad but is it sufficient for daily's work? Would you recommend to use a mouse in addition? I'm wondering whether I should also order the magic mouse ...

why not try it first? do you have another USB mouse laying around? Macs will work with just about any USB mouse, corded or not

+1 personally, I LOVE my magic mouse --- but I used my macbook for a month or so before buying one.

well i have a magic mouse for my imac

but when im on my macbook, the trackpad is just so much better then a normal laptop that it doesnt really seem neccessary to buy one, why don't you try it for a week and make your own mind up?

I LOVE my magic mouse too! Especially combined with better touch tool.

I also love my Magic Mouse - and as chrono1081 says; BetterTouchTool males it an extra 1000 times nicer!

My magic mouse is good too, definately need a mouse for games. But 90% of the time I just use the trackpad.
