Hello everyone,

I've been a proud mac user for some time now, however I've been having a monster load of problems, my first macbook went into repair 7 times for repairs, 7 times the screen backlight broke and the last time the magsafe adapter caught fire.

my second macbook's screen came loose of the machine, it had a crack in it however apple saw now reason for repairing this.

now my 2 month old macbook pro is a disaster, I love this machine, it's nearly perfect however

my hard drive make this really annoying rattling noise
it has a dent in it which I noticed 24 hours after delivery see:

scince a few hours i have a green light in my screen:

and now it seems it wants a day of in the week ends:

So do you have any idea what this last screen means? It isn't the screen since I can see the boot screen but that's all. Do I have the right to ask for a replacement?

I just don't have the time to go without my mbp, basically my whole life is on there and I won't be able to meet my deadlines if I have to mis it longer then 24hours :D

Would like to hear your opinion

One more thing:
when my first macbook melted and after it's 7th repair wasn't fixed I spent several days on the phone with apple since it was just 8-9 months old I thought i deserved a new one, they didn't agree. After being pissed of for several hours I joined a mac irc chat room and just for fun I mailed 'steve jobs', we put together a giant list of possible addresses and I batch mailed 'him'. Hours after I bought my new macbook Apple Europe calls and tells me they are willing to ship me a full option brand new macbook . So it's just a matter of contacting the right people to get things done

Regards Stijn

Technically, this qualifies your for a refund under No Lemon Laws, so if you have to get it fixed for than 3 times, you're entitled to a replacement or a refund and compensation.

Is it just me or do you have the older Core Duo version (based on the little dot by the isight camera)?
