I have had my MacBook for about 3 years now. As time has progressed, it has become slower. I have 2 GB of RAM, so it seems as though it should be faster. Would it make a difference if I were to back up all of my files and then reinstall OS X? And If I was do do that, would I just do an erase and install?

Thanks :)

Do not know about the last question but. Deleting old files and unnecessary programs will help, max out the Ram. Put your data on an external hard drive then re-install OSX maybe that will help.
