Yeah, I would love a Macbook but my paper round doesn't quite stretch :D

They do seem to be harder and one hell of a lot more expensive over here, I might go snooping around US Craigslist and ask some people if they're willing to post over here...

Looks like you're the one trolling these boards.

@zen.state I never thought there would be a bully on an online forum, but you define that to the T. Stop having a go at everyone else and try and get along with people for a change...

Postage, paypal fees and potential charge-back scams are what a lot of people are trying to avoid by selling on CL/GT.

Also, you will be charged 17.5% VAT on imports, even if it's marked as a gift. That's if the marked value is <£40, however, I believe this is the value you'd be insured against too (so you're taking a risk of not paying VAT vs insurance).

As other people have stated, you seem to be making a ton of threads on entirely the same issue, it is very unnecessary. I'm not sure why you're asking the question anyway - you owned the computer you're asking about.

Regular web surfing would be ok. Pages will take a while to render. You will have massive issues with speed with Flash. And forget about video content. The G3 processor is just to slow for h.264 codec to provide a usable play back option on web videos like youtube. But if your checking web banking, looking at news sites minus watching videos and doing forums it will be usable just not super fast. Expect to see the beach ball wheel spinning a lot with each page load no matter what you do.

I suspect that W123 is a well-known troll (having been banned before) around here. The claim that the ATI X1900 is the fastest card for the PCI-E G5 gives it away (see some other thread).
