Do as I did, get a bigger hard drive and bluetooth. Gives you some time before you need to buy an external HD.Somle editing still is OK on the ibook. Screen is a bit small. but it´s a hack that let´s you use 2 monitors.

Best of luck. You will love it 😀

I'm simple-minded with computers; what exactly does BlueTooth let you do?

connect wirelessly with devices - e.g. phones keyboards mice pda's..

dammit.. i hear an ibook calling my name 🙂

but i have to resist.. besides, i've got to sell virtually everything i own on ebay, sell my laptop, kick my pc, order ibook on credit card, anxiously wait, smile for days once it arrives, then sigh as apple announce the release of tiger 2 days after i buy, just so i'm not eligable for a free upgrade 🙂

i tell you i'm not very lucky with timing. besides, if i wait then i can pay with money i actually have rather than credit.. my 0% introductory offer is almost up 🙂

*edit = i just notice i punctuate everything with a smily.. i cant help it.. i'm addicted.. 🙁
*edit2 = speaking of addictions, i've become addicted to checking MR every 2 minutes. thats more addictive than any drug i know, and equally disasterous for my social life.

I'm tempted to buy one right now as well, but I don't have enough money. I'm 17 and I have a very, very part time writing gig type of job. I have almost $500 from that and another $200+ from the holidays. My dad is willing to pay the remaining difference, but he's also going to buy me a car in a couple of months, and I just feel like he'll be spending too much on me.
