At start I used to get eyestrain with my dell though. Did not experience it when using Windows.

It definitely feels as a rip-off to me. Like the way it looks, the integration, …
Spending an additional 600 simply to adjust height which dell Providence by default. I do not know. Especially the fans. I understand why they were added but it makes me wonder when they will break.

I finally decided to spend my money on sonos and to keep using my existing display to learn there is an audio delay.
If the cost of the height adjustable model is all that is keeping you away, consider the VESA mount version. Then you can add your own height adjustment at a very reasonable cost.

I genuinely considered it but I am afraid I will damage the display.

Could not decide myself. Was afraid of the glare as I sit next to a window which stands 90 degrees on the display. Wonder how much it would show?

The real headache was the height adjustment or not. Is it at the right height for you at 5’7?
Yeah, I can't say about the glare. Some find it noticeable. It's a non-issue for me, and the same as the iMac. If you can check it out in an Apple Store, that's always best.

The height is perfect for me, actually. I do have a long torso for a woman. One issue with buying a discounted model is not having options. Apple charges way too much for the tilt/height stand, so a lot of people buy the vesa option or put the monitor on a kb shelf (which gives you space underneath).

Reason me asking is I am 5’7 myself. Wonder if I need the adjustment.
